Its a girl!

I WAS RIGHT!!!!!
I think that’s the most important lesson here. Mothers (or more specifically – my) intuition. I wasn’t surprised at all. I would have been more surprised if it had turned out to be a boy.
I got an extra scan (because I’m just a bit different) and we could very clearly see that it was a wee girl. Nick’s reaction was “well I’m glad it’s a girl otherwise those dresses you bought would have really annoyed me”! Silly boy, that should just go to show that you should not doubt me.
I went out and bought a pink hat just to celebrate knowing. I don’t understand people who do not want to know – they tell me I’m spoiling the surprise. Well I’m going to find out eventually! Why not know when I can plan for it better and anticipate her with pink stuff.
I’ve made another disturbing discovery. There are not enough pink things out there with monsters on them. I found some nice blue ones, but we have enough blue (since it was safer before we knew). Why can’t girls have monsters too? I think little girls are often more closely related to monsters than little boys (having been a wee monster myself). Anyway I’m going to make my own pink monsters. That’s what this blog will be about more anyway. Not pink monsters (even though that would be extra special cool). More about stuff I like to make and create and do. I’ve not had the time to make anything lately, but I will. Its just that baby stuff has taken over and before that I was too tired to do anything.
Anyway – I was right.
