4 1/2 months into it and I’m huge. I look 6 months already. Peeing is still a 15 minute routine which makes sight seeing in Bristol an interesting toilet orientated experience. I’m here to meet the future in-laws. They are pretty much stuck with me now but from what I can gather they are ok with that! I couldn’t’ ask for lovelier parents-in-law. I only wish that we didn’t live on the other side of the world as them. We bought a video camera (something I thought I’d never do seeing I’m such a photography nut) just so we can send them movies of their new grandchild. Its not the same I know, but at least they will be able to have a record of it moving about, growing and changing.
Singapore was muggy but fun. I do love being able to buy toys with the ‘its for the baby’ excuse. Seems to work for Nick too.
Nick’s friends are great fun. Again I wish we didn’t live so far away from them all. However it is a good excuse to make trips to England regularly.

We had our 18 week scan the day before we left NZ. I so wanted to know what sex it was! I know it’s a girl but it would have been so nice to be sure before we came to the UK (where I’m actually allowed to shop!). But no, baby wasn’t going to show us anything. In fact it fidgeted so much (taking after her father I’m sure) that it was almost impossible to get pictures of anything. I did however fall to temptation (not that it matters because I KNOW it’s a girl) and bought a couple of gorgeous wee dresses that I absolutely just had to have. Poor kid if it’s a boy, he is really going to look strange in those.
