My baby is nearly done! Well I've got 9 weeks to go, but that's single digits now so I can start counting down! Its not easy being pregnant. My back hurts a lot, my hips hurt because I can't turn over in bed and end up on one side all night, I get massive reflux/heartburn when sitting at my desk, I can't reach my feet to put my socks on easily, I'm tired all the time and everything is a massive effort! I hate the hormones too - they make me grumpy and I hate being grumpy.
I can't keep myself clean. I seem to get all manner of food and grubbiness all over my tops. I can't help it. I had one clean thing to wear out last night (went to see Nick's friend play in a band in Sumner) and I got home thinking I had kept clean. Then I found ice-cream on my shoulder! I really hate not having anything to wear either. I can't wait to get back into normal clothes. I dont' want to spend money on clothes I'm only going to wear for a few months. Also its really hard in the heat, I'm an incubator so I'm already extra hot!
I love feeling her move inside me though. It took at while to get used to it, but its so cool. And especially weird. Its hard to really imagine that its a baby in there and one day its going to come out and I'll see her. I wonder what she is going to look like - which bits are from me and which will be from Nick. I hope she has Nick's smile and dark hair and normal feet (but not his toes). Also his ears (mine are wonky). Oh and his round head. Mine is too long.
