I have always felt the desire to paint women in my art. I really didn't know how to go about this until I found Kelly Rae Roberts. Reading her book Taking Flight was like she was there with me, getting inside my head and expressing all my fears about creating art. I was also taken with her wonderful works of women and following her tutorials in the book, I created these paintings.
