I promise not to go on about pregnancy ever again.
In this blog I plan on sharing two things:
1. my art.
2. my quest for self-sufficiency in an urban garden.
I can't see my keyboard. I could turn on the lights, but I could also pretend that I am taking saving power to a new level. Truth is I can't be bothered getting up to turn on the light.
So to start with I will share some art.
This is an early attempt at trying out a style similar to one of my favourite artisits Lisa Kaus.
I just love her use of colour, texture, and almost child-like lines.
Sewing through the canvas was rather liberating and the pallet is one I have never tried before.

This sweet boy is my friend James. I managed to swipe this photo off his computer and turn it into this picture for his birthday a couple of years ago.
